When you chose a Level 2 Home Survey?


A Level 2 Home Survey is typically suitable if:

  • The property is built using standard materials
  • It is relatively modern (post-1900 construction)
  • No major alterations or structural changes are planned
  • You want a professional overview without the scope of a full building survey


If the property is older, altered, or in poor condition, a RICS Level 3 Building Survey may be more appropriate.
